Festival of ST. Nicholas

Each year a vast majority of people who all came from the same town as John's family in Portugal and moved to CT have a big party at the Vasco de gama here in Bridgeport. We have attended each year since they started this tradition as a family. We had plenty to eat and drink and then danced the night away. It was a lot of fun. Attached are some of the pictures from that night. One of which we used for our christmas card photo.

Sophia's Baptism

The day after Thanksgiving was cousin Sophia's baptism. Kim's brother Jason and I had the honor of being godparents. It was a great day with a lot of great food and great company. I only have a few pictures of my own because John is not the biggest photographer, but the pictures I have are posted above.

The Big Balloon parade

We spent the Sunday before Thanksgiving at the big balloon parade with Stephanie. The kids had a blast watching all the balloons. They only complained about it being so cold and not being close enough to all of the action. Next year we'll have to set out earlier to secure a good spot.

Thanksgiving

We spent our Thanksgiving this year at Germana and Tony' s for the first half of the day and than had dinner at my mom and dad's. It was busy as usual with four kids in tow, but we had a great day. I finished my day off at the hospital for a 12 hour night shift but what can you do such is the life of a mom who is also a nurse.
