The Big 3-0!!

The time had to come eventually and yes last week I turned thirty! Who would have thought that at this time in my life I would already have four beautiful kids and would have been married for 8 years! WOW time flies when you are having fun! I posted just two pics from the party, what can I say John is not a big photographer! The highlight of my surprise birthday party was a photo montage created by my ever so talented brother, with "It's My Life" playing in the background, we must have watched it play a dozen times. I have also attached another great pic from the farm that I forgot to post with the other farm pics. I have a lot to show for thirty years.

Pumpkin picking!!

On October 2nd the older kids had the day off from school so we took a trip to Jone's tree farm in Shelton to take a hay ride and pick a few pumpkins. Nana came along with us.
The kids had a blast and we got to take a few pictures of the kids in the pumpkin field. Enjoy!

Ashley turns 2!!!

We had a family party for Ashley's birthday on 9/24!! All of our close family and friends were there to celebrate. It of course had to be a Mickey Mouse party since that is what she's into these days. I even made Mickey and Minnie cakes. I think I now have arthritis from making about a million stars with frosting. Some of those moments are captured here

Cousin Sophia has arrived!!!!!!

Wednesday August 30th brought much excitement into our house as we learned that cousin Sophia had decided to make an early entry into the world. Nana called to say that Kim was in labor, we got Kaitlyn on the bus and off we went. We pulled into the parking lot of the birthing center within a minute of her arrival. Finally, I was able to take the first glimpse of my goddaughter. Her cousins were equally as excited to take their first peek at her. I went back home at lunch time to pick up Kaitlyn so she wouldn't miss out. It will be great to see Sophia and Gaby grow up together since they are only 19 weeks apart.

Sesame Place

We spent the last weekend in August at Sesame Place in Pennsylvania, just a short family vacation to spend some time together before school started. The weather however was not on our side. We enjoyed a few of the water attractions on Friday when we arrived, but Saturday was much to cool for us to play in the water. We all had fun though and plan on going back soon.

American Girl Place!!!!

On August 13th we ventured to New York City to the American Girl Place. This place is like every little girls dream, with wonderful dolls and everything imaginable as far as clothes and accessories are concerned. They also have a doll hospital, a theater, and a restaurant where your dolls can dine with you. Kaitlyn was given the opportunity to take one friend with her to share in the fun and decided to take her cousin Esabel. They had a blast and couldn't stop talking about it for days. I have attached just a few pictures.

Kaitlyn's birthday party!

We had a small family get together for Kaitlyn's sixth birthday at John's parents house on her birthday! Given the option of having a big kids party or going to NYC, she chose New York. So we just had immediate family for dinner and cake. She had a great time hanging out with her cousins. I have posted a few pics.

Gaby's baptism

OK, I have been slacking !!! No blogging since May, but things have been very busy with four kids. Gaby was baptised July 2nd and I still have not posted any pictures. It was wonderful having the family all together. Our cousins Christine and Steve were her godparents! Here are just a few highlights!!

Jack turns three!!

Things have been hectic at our house now that baby four is here, and the kids realize that she is here to stay. Gabriella is a great baby however, so we are very lucky, we actually even get some sleep. We all spent this past Sunday at cousin Jack's birthday, here are a few photos of our day.

Our blog begins

Today will be my first attempt at blogging but here goes nothing! We are now a family of six and I will admit I am not the best person when it comes to keeping in touch with everyone. Our new addition Gabriella is now six days old and I need to find a way to let our family and friends get a closer glimpse into our lives. The kids get big much too quickly it's as if you blink and another year has passed. Our family is now complete, Gabriella arrived on April 19th at 10:35 am. She
was welcomed by her brother Jonathon and two sisters Kaitlyn and Ashley. She came home on the 22nd and we are all adjusting nicely to the change. The older kids went back to school on Monday and were excited to share the news with their friends. Ashley wakes up each day and showers her new sister with kisses. Thank god that at present everyone is handling it all so well!
Below are just a few pics of our new little girl, enjoy!!
My trip home!
